War Decree to stand at $4,500 in 2020

After two successful first two seasons at stud, Inglewood Stud’s exciting young stallion War Decree will stand at a reduced fee of $4,500 +GST this season in light of the current economic climate.

“We were rapt with the response to War Decree in his first two seasons and he has left a very consistent line of first crop foals with plenty of quality, but with the

current situation of the global economy, we’ve decided to reduce his fee this season to help breeders and ensure he gets the third season book he deserves,” said Inglewood Stud’s Gus Wigley.

“He’s let down beautifully over the last two years and he’s such an easy horse to manage with his excellent fertility and terrific libido.”

A winner of the prestigious Gr.2 Vintage Stakes at Goodwood, War Decree is a son of super-sire War Front, North America’s most expensive stallion commanding a service fee of US$250,000.
